Denk dat ze de USD 600.000 voor beide stafs ook wel hadden willen ontvangen..... Ben benieuwd of ze ooit nog zullen vliegen...

Re: Beauvechain AB 3/4 juli 2010

. A very nice gesture from the base commander. We should consider telling him to never do it again via this civil organisation and send the money from last spottersday to a charity organisation rather than reimburse it. This would really improve the relation between spotters and the Belgian Air Com...

Re: Kecskemét 7,8 August 2010

Szia PH-HEE, I suggest to use 200-300 mm, bigger means longer distance and more heatwaves. You can compare the positioning like Volkel without the "Spotters corner". In 2007 and 2008 conditions were really good. Just go where all the spotters are, check the wind and go to the landing side and n-joy...

Re: Kecskemét 7,8 August 2010

The spotting conditions at Kecskemét during arrivals is very good. Just use your common sense. There will be many spotters, just folow the croud. The only thing you should mind over there is the Temperature. Last time we had 39°C and little shade. I'll be there. Bart Bart, Can you give an indicatio...

Re: Afriqiyah Airways Crash Libya 12-05-2010

It appears that the A330 was overshooting runway 27 rather than approaching 09. Missed approach? You could be right. Seen from the 27 sight of the runway, the crashsite seems to be left of the centerline. See post Huub above. Based on this photo http://tinyurl.com/pic-5A-ONG" onclick="window.open(t...
