Lots of props on this Sunday including no less than 2 rare ATPs that were needed for the database. No less than 4 Luxembourgers were seen taking off from CGN today from nearby Siegburg, all diversions from foggy Findel: LX-VCB 747-8F Cargolux, LX-UCV Cargolux Italia, LX-LQD DHC8-400Q Luxair, LX-LGF DHC8-400Q Luxair all leaving CGN between 12.57-13.25.

The L-39 Albatross was announced via the local BWE spotterwebsite so there were no less than 25 people on the terrace, normally it is completely deserted. Short stop brought some nice frames including nice Ukrainian Beech that is in town for maintenance plus a nice German Navy Dornier. Yes it should come daily until Friday, no flights in the weekend and likely another one next week Mo-Fri. Arrival typically around 5.30AM and scheduled dep 2 hours later but last 2 days it was delayed and left just after 9AM. Hoping the same for tomorrow as I may try to get it then

Several unusual helicopters were in town for a conference in Cologne called 'European Rotors; The VTOL show and safety conference" that is held in Hall 8 of the Köln Messe (16-18 November). Several more (including Bell C-FNFO and D-HHLJ AW169) are already there but was happy with several new frames....

Not too much to write home about, just a couple of bizjets that were needed.
