Be aware though that even for none-journalists there are restrictions. Video cams are regarded as a taboo and with photo cams you can only takes pics when the acompanying official says its allowed.

Maybe for the last time on his way for the real tigers:

The only way this beauty will see real tigers is on a state visit to Asia. No tigers to be found in Tanzania. :)
Nice catch though.

Re: holiday piccies from athens

Cool pics mister! glass or no glass, you really can't see. By the way, the Olympic 737, looks like a repair job? or just a new livery? Thanks... My guess would be that it's stored, like many of his/her brothers/sisters... I think I saw BKA,B,D but wasn't really able to spot many more. A whole paral...

Hi Arno,

According to ACARS, the Singapore A380 was 9V-SKC.
Don't know about the others.

Airshow Figeac - Livernon 4 September

This small field celebrated its 40th birthday this day. It probably would have been nothing more than a grass strip were it not for the fact that the family of then president Pompidou lived in the area and it was decided to equip the field with a proper runway to allow the presidential aircraft to v...

Paris Le Bourget 8 September

Returning home from holidays last week I paid a short visit to Le Bourget. Apart from the usual numbers of bizzjets I noted this French E-3F 203 with a new code. The old code 36-CC was replaced by 702-CC. The weather was awefull (lots of rain) so the photo quality is not as good as I hoped but I wan...

Nice pics! How long do you approximately need to have a good look around here?
I hope to visit this museum within the next two weeks during my holiday in France.

The result though makes it look like an artist impression. A very nice special effect.
Great set of pics nevertheless.

Truly a great set of pics!! Nice touch on the Union Jack in the first set and the umbrella's bring back memories from loooong time ago.
The Red's pic is so crisp and sharp it's almost unbelievable. Already looking forward to next year's contribution.

Re: Week end's trip to Spain 17-18 July @ LEBL

Great pics and a nice variety of types and airliners. Shame though that once more I had to look up what this code was that is in a thread title. It is clearly suggested in the thread rules that airfield names are to be written out in full. Surely it is not too big a task to write Barcelona ins...

Mooie platen René. Volgende maand rij ik langs Montelimar op weg naar de Ardeche. Zo te zien de moeite van een tussenstop waard.
