Wow, very nice pics. I can not stay behind and show you a couple of my Japanese favourites. My trip to Japan was in 1998, in the analogue era, so I provide some scans made by a trustworthy CanoScan 4400F. These were not photoshopped and certainly not edited in Lightroom, as I do not have the latter ...

Scramble 341 will be out in a couple of days

Due to some technical difficulties with my computer this mail was send a bit later than usual. Another bumper edition. Making the magazine bigger than 160 pages would mean an incredible increase of postage, we could have easily gone for 180/190 pages. A varied article with all sections present and a...

The fact that the 555th used to be assigned to the 8th TFW is just coincidence. US forces regularly deploy all around the world. Locations in Afghanistan and Iraq are very well known, but Air Force, Navy and Marine aircraft also deploy to Korea, Guam, Japan and other locations in the Middle East. Th...

Scramble 340 will be out in a couple of days

The September issue is again 160 pages thanks to no less than eleven varied articles. Due to other commitments we do not have a civil movements elsewhere, warbirds and triptease section this month. Our request for cover pictures has been answered from the military side, but we are still looking for ...

Hi Remco,

It would be really superb if you could check the construction number of this one.
The plate is located in the cockpit on the side of the middle console (next to the knee of the pilot or co-pilot).

Thanks in advance for your efforts.

Another 160 pages filled with movements, lots of airshow info and the latest news on civil and military aviation. In this month's edition we h...

Mi-8s near L-39 storage

The two Mi-8s behind the MiG-29 were 10431 and 10437 'SFOR'.
Further to the left in this area was the tailboom of 10426 with a bit of wreckage of an unknown 'something'.

Although this gate was guarded you could simply walk towards the Mi-8s.
