Ik neem niet aan dat het de bedoeling is je daar komt en dat heb ik ook niet gedaan, maar het zou wel een mooie plek zijn. Weet iemand hier meer van en ook of dit ter...

Betekent dat dat je er wel kunt komen vanaf de parkeerplaats? Niet door vanaf de NLR-hangar langs het hek te lopen, het is afgesloten bij de bocht in het hek.

Valt er op Oost nog te fotograferen van de oostzijde, of is het allemaal dubbele hekken achter de nieuwe autoparkeerplaats?

Seems to be at the Helicopter Museum in the heart of the old town. If so, you can forget about visiting helicopters.

For those who cannot go on the base on Friday, I suppose the heathland under the approach for Rwy 27 will be accessible? Or do they tend to close it off?

When driving by, to my surpirise, I saw E-3F 702-CA landing on the northernmost runway.

It's a good practice here to mention the date in the topic title I think.

The fighters will not fly from La Axarquía I suppose.

I have no idea what event you are talking about, but there is a small airfield with a paved runway inland from Torre del Mar, beyond Velez Malaga at Trapiche, called La Axarquía.

It's a good way of spreading the traffic. Volkel and Leeuwarden should take note.

A backpack was no problem at Bordeaux. There, screening was done before boarding a bus at several assembly points away from the base - well organized.

Does anyone have experience with photography from outside the airfield feasible during the show? Is ist feasible? Which runway is normally used?
