If thought that Boeing cancelled their participation because they believe that the Super Hornet is overqualified and therefor not interesting for the Swiss. It also costs a lot of money for the manufacturer just to run such a month of tests.

Yes, I hope they chose the Rafale M. Can those big birds fit in the caverns anyway?

But I'm afraid that they will also choose for the Gripen. Which is not bad, but still......love the Rafale!

I wonder if our airforce has plans to replace the PC-7's with this new one. There was a PC-21 at our air show last year.

Hi Sascha,

Well it was not an attack on you or something, I just tried to clear some air on those security activities. Something a lot of people always wonder about on this forum.

Cheers,

By the way, why hide in the bushes. We have been told several times by police and other military personnel that it is okay to stand near the fence and to take pictures as long as you do not take pictures of the base. Only one soldier who happened to walk with his german shepherd in side the fence ga...

Are you sure about the time Rob? The C-17 77174 that landed at Spang at 13.52 came out of the direction of Ramstein and orbited the field one time before landing at SP. Maybe it also flew overhead Ramstein and is this the one you have seen!
