Re: Frisian Flag 2022

Noticed two flights this evening from Trenton To Bagotville (where the expected 409sqn is based), one is CFC3650 CC1777 177701, the other one was CFC4372 CC150 15004, CFC437* is used for air refueling missions only. So could it be that the CF18's already arrive this week? Pieter, Apparently both fl...

Re: Operational Dutch F-16's

It was announced as its final flight as Tester for Kantoor Testvliegen and it would continue as Trainer ... Not necessarily would continue as trainer, but rather could. In January. Apparently it did not, possibly because J-368 was fully serviceable as 312 Squadron's trainer. But J-368 will be taken...

Re: Rebuild of Chinook D-890 -> D-895

Any match up of the individual serials? Seems not possible to me, as all MY CAAS are new airframes. Unless someone hold track of every part being reused in which airframe... Agree. Although it might be safe to assume that D-601 & 602 were built using parts retrieved from D-890 & 892. Both were sent...

Re: Rebuild of Chinook D-890 -> D-895

It is not really a rebuild, it's the powertrains from the old ones used in the new ones. These should be the D-60x series A bit more than just the powertrains, I believe. Of each old grey CH-47F, some 2,500 parts are re-used in a new CH-47F in the 60x series. D-601 to D-606 are the 'rebuilds' indeed.

Indeed it has. Even in sunny conditions, which somehow happens to be quite rare whenever a KLu F-35 is delivered.

Help effe. Die bakken op Luke zijn toch hetzelfde? En ook met echt Nederlands geld gekocht? What's the difference? Het doel van deze oefening is het verplaatsen van een detachment F-35's met bijbehorend personeel en materieel naar een locatie in het buitenland. Dus 1 stap verder dan wat in november...

Re: EHGR 18-10-2021

Today I noted a F-16 performing a high approach on runway 28 at 11:33u and again on 15:35u. Nothing showed on ADSB, but in the afternoon METAL01 was noted in the area. Could it be this one? On ADSB shown as J-367 but a photo of METAL01 visiting Eindhoven showed J-632. Or was the photo at Eindhoven ...

Re: EHLW 08-10-2021 : WIC Mission?

Just heard that they did fly a WIC mission this morning after all.

Like with the arrival of the Norwegians, nobody seems to know exactly when they will depart.

OK thanks for the addition Herby.
The D-CGFE must have left quite early then, well before 8.00 LT I guess?

Re: Hohn 2021

A few nice logs of the very dark and wet fly-out on 23 September, thanks for that. However you guys apparently are not interested in civil aircraft; at least if they are not ex military aircraft. So in addition, the following 7 GFD Lear Jets could be seen this day. All were flying: D-CGFA/D/F/G/H/J ...

Afgelopen dagen rond 9.45 uur eru...
