Still a pitty that Indian military aircraft do not carry unit markings.

Thanks Hans and indeed, only saw them once with squadron markings. They were the 20sq aircraft that deployed to Red Flag in 2008.

Re: Batajnica Open Day - Serbia, 22th april

Great additions Ben!

A friend of mine read one of the Orao’s in the Moma hangar as 25506 which was previously at Surcin in the museum.

Also note that a number of aircraft you refer to as ex-YAF are actually ex-Serbia and Montenegro AF (ex SCG - Srbija i Crna Gora AF)

Very nice log,

You forget the PA34 YU-VGI at the static. This is operated bij 138.tae

The 3 Gazelles in the hangar are 12837, 12894 & 12895. Next to them in the same hangar was a G4 Super Galeb 23741.

Re: Batajnica Open Day - Serbia, 22th april

I totally agree with Michel. I went to Serbia and I knew upfront it's not the most cheerful people in the world, especially the military and especially towards foreigners, let alone spotter. I know about the hassle some people had but it depended on the gate that you chose so there was probably some...

That would also explain the fact Rota is used for the drop off. The next inbound Atlantic Resolve rotation should com...

Erik
Four MiG-29s can be seen departing at the end of the footage or isn’t this what you meant Erik?

Re: Air Mobility Command removing markings

Well let’s agree to disagree. I agree that the dynamics of a fighter in action can result in some nice pictures but the is very little difference between an AMC aircraft in action. It is really the various unit markings which make them interesting for me.

The problem with Turkey is that this government (Erdogan) is not fully committed to NATO. He is only fully committed to himself and his ego. For his own political gains, he doesn't mind offending other allies. He is just as comfortable doing business with Putin as he is with his allies. He is like ...
