My initial thought was Bf109, then noticed only a Bouchon was mentioned on the WoF site. Think you're right.

Driving from Ede to Utrecht this afternoon and saw a flatbed transporter with the Bf-109 Buchon on it heading towards De Klomp. Obviously wings detached ;-)

Re: D-day 06jun19

The previously mentioned AgustaWestland Wildcats (3x) passed Omaha Beach at 11.10 LT today, 15 minutes after the three Chinooks made a low pass. Unfortunately too far away to get serials.

Five minutes later C-130H 94-7316 also made a low pass over the beach.

Sorry, should have said no Daks over Normandy activity. There should be plenty of other interesting visitors that day at Caen - taking into consideration several heads of state will attend the official ceremonies. Getting access to the controlled zone is easy - when you have the sticker. Hence my me...

Re: D-day 06jun19

For those heading to Normandy and planning to go to the landing beaches when there is no activity at Caen-Carpiquet on the 6th of June, make sure you're aware of the driving restrictions in the area.

Re: D-day 06jun19

Still wondering what the preferred air field is for the attending presidents. Caen-Carpiquet I'd say. Barack Obama used it in 2009 and 2014. It is also right next to the N13, which will only be used for transporting VIPs and veterans on the 6th of June, and there are no Daks over Normandy activitie...

Farman HF-20 (LA 2) and Bleriot XI are replicas indeed. Have been there since the opening of the museum. The SNCAN Stampe SV.4C (half of it) is there since 2016, I believe.
