Exellent report Rob, thanks for that! There's nothing to add and/or correct. Patrick, regarding your Polish Vipers, they can be clearly seen and read from the North side of the airbase near the red/white radar. Just follow the dirttrack alongside the fence from the crashgate near RWY06. All six were...

Re: COMPLETE LOG OPENDAYS VOLKEL 17-21 JUNE 2009

Thanks for posting your logs guys, it really helps. The Turkish Stars F-5's were identified by the blade-antenna on the "back" of the aircraft, as it is thought that this is a feature of the "2000" model. Hans maybe wright that they aren't "2000's" but just partially upgraded involving this blade-an...

Hi Patrick, Nice logs as always! I was just processing your log and saw your questions. Both F-15E's (48OG and 48FW) belong to the 494th FS. MC-130P 69-5806 doesn't excist, typo for 69-5826 I guess. Was KC-135 58-0100 still wearing "100ARW"? And F-15E 97-0221 should be the 492nd FS CO bird with "492...

Hi Melchior,

I'm looking for the serials of two Starfighters pole-mounted together at Cervia. Are these 6825 and 6880?

I hope this helps... http://www.aimhigh.nl/pics/temp/001.jpg It doesn't get any clearer than this. This one is certainly not parked in the row with the 8 Chinooks. Maybe it's stored, I can't tell, allthough it looks like the upperpart of the loading-ramp is missing. By the looks of the Arabic scrip...

Actually there are nine! 8 are in a row, but the ninth is a bit backwards of those, in between the others. Why didn't Crizz report this then? They had a base-visit. I think you're wrong. There are 8 packed together without rotors, see also Melchior's photo, there's no room here for a ninth. And Cri...
