Some Turkish RF-4Es. In sept2000 6 THK Phantoms made a fuelstop at Spangdahlem on their way back to Turkey after participating the Nato-Air Meet in Norway. Two 113 Filo and 4 172 Filo Phantoms could be photographed in front of the tower near the main runway. Nowadays this spot is part of the base......

I heard on the news that the NATO-meeting already started in Noordwijk.
All the aircraft which dropped today some Defence secretaries do they pick them up tomorrow? Most of the aircraft departed already....

Als ik me niet vergis zat ie vrij laag in een bocht net ten noorden boven Woerden > inbound 36R dus....Op afstand vanuit mijn kantoor gezien, plus/min.10.14u.. of was er toevallig een andere witgekleurde freighter 747 ook inbound??

Yes ,also more US civil airlines fly regualr with Reach-callsigns to Mildenhall/Ramstein when they fly for USAF-duties.
