Re: Belgian Agustas at Van Vliet Trucks - Nieuwerkerk

We called last week to see if we could make an appointment to see and graph the choppers, and the answer was a firm "no". I guess they are fed up with us spotters.....

Re: LOG UK trip 5 & 6 February

Hi Arjen, As already said in my trip report it is not allowed to post a log from the visit to Warton. All I can tell you is that you visit the Typhoon production line and all hangars where modifications are done on Typhoons, Harriers, Tornados and Hawks. And since they do build Typhoons and (in the ...

Re: Airfield names instead of iata/icao codes PLEASE PLEASE!!!!

If it doesn't generate more "errors" I would love to see this happen as well! It's a big annoyance to see those airfield codes all the time, and for some reason repeated requests to type names instead of this, a lot of people can't be bothered apparently. If this could be changed automatically a lot...

Re: LOG UK trip 5 & 6 February

As pointed out to me by two persons I switched the names of both farms in Winwick. The combination of coordinates and inmates is correct.

Hi Tim,

A nice few aircraft you got here! I still need that Bf.109...
Two minor corrections: the Hunter is in Hoeven, not Hooven, and the Tiger Moth at Seppe should be G-AJHS.

LOG UK trip 5 & 6 February

Hi all, About a month ago we crossed the Channel for another weekend in the UK. Main reason was the opportunity to join a Warton trip, and that alone is always enough reason to come over. Although it's a bit dated I hope there is still enough interesting information to post anyway, so here it goes. ...

Re: Marrakesh Air Expo 2010 log

Interestingly, as pointed out to me on another forum, CM.170 226 is also given as preserved Le Havre, and 230 as to the Danish civil register as OY-FGA. The Scrambe database also gives those destinations. The stored Fouga's here have been read off this year and two years ago however, so what is goin...

Re: Spotting in Greece?

I won 't start my whole ranting again, most people here do know my opinion about Greece  , but the simple answer is: spotting is not allowed in Greece. I understand that things have changed since 2001, but apart from visiting open days I wouldn't advise you to go to a greek airfield with a ...

Of course there is Otgers famous book EMOOS, but if you want to have it online the team from Demobbed has a great site. For Austria: http://www.eurodemobbed.org.uk/index.php?country=109" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and for Germany: http://www.eurodemobbed.org.uk/index.php?country=1...
