The date on the slide says MAR85. Those days we would find this a fairly uninteresting visitor.

US Army also sent UH-1 sometimes. Not worth a posting, except for this one. The slide says JAN78.

Just like the C-130 the CH-47 has a long history, being still in production after so many years. There was a time that US Army performed transport tasks for 32 FS. This one was seen on a winters day in January 1977.

Seen them before on this site, but redundancy is not a great offence I hope.

I do one at a time. In the sixties we had C-131s twice a week, Medevac. Later on we had training flights of T-29s. In the 80-ties we had the occasional visit of the Mildenhall Navy hack.

Who knows the logic of giving a C5 European 1 camouflage? It only works at EHSB. Don't know the date of this image, perhaps late 80-ties. The 27 approach at EHSB sometimes creates a visual illusion causing aircraft coming in high. This C5 already passed 25% of the runway length. Luckily reverse thrust could compensate.

This is the only occasion that I've seen an F15A/B/C/D flying with ECM-pod. I am sure someone knows type and make of the ALQ-?? pod onderneath this F15D. Not a perfect photo but it may be rare. 32FS already said goodbye to their F4s. The end was nearing for 50FW F4s. They came to Soesterberg to act as drone carriers. This one was pictured after an early dawn mission.
