These missiles are the targets for the Slovak 2K12 Kub (SA-6) air defence system positioned at the Ustka range. This exercise is called Strela 2.

Even though we were informed that there should be no flying activities of Polish Airforce during this day, we were positively surprised by two Su-22s armed with RS-2/ R-55 type air-to-air missiles. After the visit to ZLOT 2008 at Poznan Krzesiny we revisited Swidwin again to see the Slovak Mig-29 flying with R-60s. I got the following information about the Open Day at Malacky on 31.5.2008. Participants: B-1 (flyover), air displays of MiG-29; L-39; Mi-24; Mi-17 and maybe L-410 (airborne).
