Re: RE: REQ ETAR AFGHAN C-27's

Hi! Just came by the point "pjotrtje" mentioned (by foot, to use a car is bad advice in my opinion). All I can say to those who are interested: Return in winter, because this time there are too many trees and bushes with naturally lots of leafs. You can only imagine by the outlines that there are 4 ...

Construction work on visitors terrace

Hi all!
I will come to Schiphol in April.
As far as I know now, there is actually some construction work on the visitors terrace going on, which leads to closure of parts of it.
If that is true, does anybody know for how long these works are planned?
Thank You for any information
Regards

Way back into the 70's

Hi all, found an old picture I took at Ramstein open house in the mid-to-end seventies, showing an sand-brown-olive camouflaged F-5E with a rigid mounted air-refuelling probe in front of the cockpit (right side), which made it definitely not an aggressor plane from RAF Alconbury. Part of the serial ...

Do You know why the pilot of PH-EZB is waving an axe? Or what else is it?

Re: Two Strike Eagles

Hi Ben,
F-15E "98-0315" sounded suspicious to me and leads to nothing in the Scramble database. If You look sharply in the gap between flap and wing, I guess it must be 91-0335, which is an LN Strike Eagle for sure. Perhaps You have another picture to prove it.
Just for the correctness.

Re: ETAR 29-03-2013

[quote="Gerard"]Main goal for my visit was the presence of the Afghan C-27s, which were all seen parked on the east-platform:
04095
84020
84025
84026

Hi Gerard,

does "east-platform" mean the usual RS-Herc-ramp, which can well be overlooked from the 26/27-approach spotting point?

Regards
Tommy
