Yeah,

Looking at the crash pics, there was indeed an Airspeed is Life, Height is Life Insurance problem.

BTW doesn't he have a second (stored or in restoration) OV-10 Bronco?

Re: Airline pilots shortage?

Marketing BS ;)

Airline flying isn't fun anymore.
It's all about automation (Go to PUSH), Stupid Operating Procedures (SOPs), Fat Neck HoTs (Head of Training) and Arrogant passengers etc.

Unless you have a sponsor (scholarship), you're a real fool to start a(ny) professional pilot course.

Judging by the photos, the aircraft ended up in the following location:
Due to thirdparty (C), I can't publish the touchdown mark photo's.

RunAway isn't a runway overrun, but early (before runway end) high speed, asphalt bye bye.

The probability of survival is inversely proportional to the angle of arrival. Large angle of arrival, small probability of survival and vice versa. BTW A good landing is one from which you can walk away from. A great landing is one after which they can use the plane again. A smooth landing is mostl...

Re: Vliegveiligheid Schiphol in gevaar

Sorry hoor, maar een 737 is toch geen Piper Seneca met 0 klimvermogen op 1 motor? 145 Meter is 500 voet! Dan ben je òf als crew levensgevaarlijk bezig, òf is er meer aan de hand dan enkel een motor die ermee kapt. Iets met Gear 'nog' down', Right Throttle niet ... (83% N1), 37.5° Bank, NIET volgen ...
