Post by ETURSPOTTER »

Hi all,
I dont know if this is allowed here, if not than were els can i go?

My YUPITERU MVT - 7100 lost all his freqs when he hit something a few months ago.
Now i would start with putting them al back again, he dont react as i push the buttons.
It doesnt make any sence if he's on Battery or 220V power, he remains death !!!!!
The only thing on the screen is FM - 20 khz and 143.860.
I can change the freq with the right button on top & change volume with the other,
But thats all !!!!!

Can anyone from you help me with this item please

Greetings Frits

Factory reset?

To perform the reset
1. Make sure the radio is powered on
2. Use a small object to press and hold the micro switch located beneath the small opening on the side
panel
3. The radio will reset and then go to VFO mode

Did you checked the "lock" switch? must be downwards

and other way is to reset. put a small pointy object in the little hole (under the lock switch, above the letters reset)

the fact it went all clear, could indicate your internal memory battery is empty, will be a good idea to replace it. or all clear could happen more often and sometimes when you switch batteries it will clear to.

If this not work, could be you have a lose connection, you can try to put some little pressure on the display and soundbox

Hi Jos,

I think the only thing left is to switch the internal memory battery.
Is this something i can do self or not.
Took a long time this awnser, but comes due to my work as a trucker.

My holliday starts now so now i got the time for it.
