425 FS F-35's?

I'll be there, have a hotel starting on the 6th. For people planning multi-stop travels, note that as of today, Yuma and Luke are cancelled (official pages) but El Centro (March 12) is on.

Also: the Speedway is hosting the NASCAR circus the weekend of March 5-6, so lodging close to the track may be tough to find until the car race fans go home. Bonus-- lots of biz jets will be at North Vegas that weekend.

166695 C-40A arr 3/3 "CNV416" just landed NASNI after a missed approach. They actually flew over Pt Loma, so I'm sure the tower had something to say about that.

So, if you think the C-40 was part of RF 22-2 support, do we know WHICH Navy Squadron will be there?

Landed during afternoon recovery. Very snappy red white blue paint job. More later, just dumping the cards now.

RAF A330-200 Voyager VIP transport + special paint //might be here to bring back 2 Typhoons on transient ramp?

Thunderbird 8 flew by himself, was granted unrestricted climb to 16000 feet--IMPRESSIVE!!
Hour or so after Tbird 8 flew; T-Birds 1-6 took off in the middle of the recovery and then landed after the RF fighters but before the heavies recovered. Permission to fly a loop over the field DENIED due to non stop recovery action.

B-1s didn't fly the day mission, no F-35s launched all day until after all RF aircraft recovered (last RF some 6th WPS F-35s were flying the RF missions).

2nd straight day Thunderbirds shut down the field with a TFR 10a-11a so they could practice their full show.

B-1s flew day mission Tuesday, but stayed on ramp today. AWACS skipped Tues, but flew Mon and today.

530pm flights Mon-Tues mix of L159, Mirage F-1 and I counted 8 but friends said 12-16 F-35s. Very nice golden hour sun and photogenic flex departures for all sunset birds.

Serials/bunos coming when I can work through photos.
