The IQAF1615 has a large black panther on its tail. I noted it at Tucson on the 29th. Two fellow spotters noted the IQAF1635 and IQAF1636 at DM on the snowbird ramp the same day.

Thanks, this at least confirms that the F-16 was not 1615 as this had no specially marked tail.

Those two fellows also spotted a pair of dark camo AH-1s on the arrivals ramp on Sun 29th, reportedly Pakistani? And 5 x "XL" coded T-1As which are there for repairs following a severe hailstorm down Del Rio way. Any help with the serials much appreciated!

Hi,

while you were conveniently overflying the facility, we were sweating along the fence to get some numbers....
92-0352/XL and 93-0636/XL are two of the T-1s I see on my pictures taken that same morning. Unfortunately I cannot read the two under the sheds (+ one parked next to it) from my aerial photo's taken the day before.
The Pakistani AH-1Z's are 786-067 and 786-068

Cheers, Hans

One of the dark AH-1's was 786-068, I've seen the other serial mentioned somewhere but cannot confrim it from my photo's. Jayhawks I noted on the 28th and 29th were 92-0352/XL, 93-0636/XL and one marked 96 FTS/XL. Two of them had their complete upper fuselage replaced.

I'll take a look at my pics and let you know what I can make of them.

Would you Adam & Eve it, 50 pin sharp (ummmm) shots of F-16s that've been at DM since Noah was a lad, and a bunch of fuzz for the XLs, but, I would suggest (91) 094 & (92) 358 (the "8" just a weeny bit suspect) for the two under sheds. 86FTS (new upper fuselage) and 0352 look good, and an aerial shot shows the 636 also with a new upper fuselage. 86 should read 96FTS

Thanks. Below are the actual locations of the Jayhawks:

92-0352/XL D-row, left from the two sunshelters on D-row also containing T-1A's
93-0363/XL Flightline under shed, new upper fuselage
96 FTS/XL Flightline, not under sunshelter, new upper fuselage

Mind you, the third T-1 is marked 96 FTS after the AFRC associate unit (complete with 96 FTS unit badge and US Air Force Reserve tailband), not 86 FTS itself.

Cheers,
Bas

To under sunsheds starting with the one closest to the line of F-16's.
91-0094/XL, 920358/XL.

Next to sunshed (next to the two above).
92-0352/XL.

I can also make out the 96 FTS. That should be 93-0622/XL.

Cannot make out the last one.

My wingman and I confirm all of the above from our photos.
Indeed "96thFTS" it is and that plus (93)-0636 should be the pair by the F-16s in the below vista.

Anyone any idea on the F-16C next to the "96 FTS" T-1? I think it is 85-1568 but need confirmation. Also the two under the sunsheds (look to be both of the AZ ANG).
Also south of the above row were 4 F-16's facing north and two facing west. Need the LF with red finstripe confirmed as well.

Anyone for these four?

Hi Tally, do you mean this lot?

The four to the left are 82-997, 82-(1)014, AZ227 & LF122, just out of shot and at 90 degrees to these are AZ933 and AC470. Another pair nearby are LFs 386 & 271 but they are white/blue, 62FS.
In the centre by 96FTS are DC476 and what looks like your 568, and the two under the sun-sheds are an AZ and an ex-AMI a/c.
An LF possibly with a red band but very heavily spraylatted is parked by an AMI a/c coded 37, I'll need to recheck the photos from the bus for that.

Any (half decent) pics of the Paki Zulus?
Should indeed be 786-067/068, factory fresh.
