Unfortunately Fallon is not listed in the Scramble Airfield Guide...but I might go there next month.

Can anybody give a short comment on how photo opportunities are from the outside? And what about tail numbers from the outside?

There are photo opportunities from outside. If you do that though, I'd recommend you let PAO know so they can inform Base Security.
Better yet, call PAO and ask for a photo-tour. These are usually held twice a month.

Depending on wind direction, Wildes Rd is good for slightly banked take-offs from 31R.




For arrivals you can stay at Macari Ln, but they are pretty high.
