Lured by the promise of a 4 ship from 105 squadron for a Pilot retirement flypast, a number of hardy locals ventured to Hatzor AFB on this windy Friday morning.
F-16Ds 664, 667, 652 & 603 (in order) held for ages then blasted off into the firmament. Surprisingly, the sound of more engines kept us chatting to the local constabulary (ie, no pictures

) as these were followed by a dozen from Messrs 101
F-16Cs 503, 514, 522, 558, 525, 534, 554, 557, 502, 516 plus two (missed as Mr Plod had been replaced by base security, so, yes, no pictures

) Apparently there was some twittering on Instaface yesterday that this may have had something to do with 70 years of Hatzor as an IAF base.
