More sad news from France this weekend, warbird pilot Marc Mathis unfortunately lost his life in a microlight crash near Strasbourg. Marc was well-known as the pilot of the Ju52 at La Ferté-Alais, and he also cheated the reaper in 2010 when the Flug Werk Fw190 that he was flying lost power and he had to put it into the sea.

I was honoured to have known him personally, his loss will leave a big space in many lives....
