Hi Iwan,

This nice spottersplace was near 'the hole' ('t Gat), no fences or whatsoever then, only some low sort of wire-fence. I know that there are other (old-)spotters with lots of (better) pictures, but until now I seem to be the only person that is placing them here.
But it takes some time for me to scan all those sixties and seventies pictures, negatives and slides in, not only from S'berg, but also from Volkel, Twenthe, Eindhoven, etc.

Hi,

Two questions actually. On page 15 of this Item, there is a TJ F-16 with yellow tailmarkings. Does anybody have that serial (and from the other TJ F-16)?

Secondly, my personal highlighst are not here (yet). Oke, it was in the 90s, but then in september (don't remember the year), 2 B-52Hs made a very highspeed low-approach. Does anybody have them on picture?

Thanks!

As far as I remember the B-52's came over in 1993, at the end of the afternoon when numerous spotters had left the field already.... I was one of them. The serials have been published in Scramble of november 1993 I think, but I currently don't have that copy available.

Hi,

Yeah, exactly! Pretty late, and I just wanted to enter the bus when Slam11 was checking in...... resulting in a run from me and a =censored=-off busdriver (he had stopped for nothing!)....

Those actually were one of my hightlights.... looking forward to the pictures!

TIA,
Oscar

Does anyone have a good shot of the F-15C with the Iraqi Kill marking? I think it was the 79-0027/CR. A cockpit shot of the left and right side would be greatly appriciated! (for modeling purpose)

... and another one (a bit off-topic: 1978-1079 period):

Image

The lead aircraft (reg. 74-0660) was destroyed on 23/08/1981), the other F-4E (74-0663) was later transformed into a drone. Both F-4E's were equipped with the TISEO-system.

Walter
