5N-JED on maintenance in EDDK/CGN

Post by LVL410 »

Hello all

Currently at Lufthansa CityLine maintenance for a C-check; 5N-JED CRJ900 Arik Air. :D
Unfortunately the aircraft is parked inside hangar 2.

All other CRJ900s of Arik Air are also expected in Cologne during the next couple of months.

Kind regards Richard

Howdie,

Visited CGN a couple of times last weekend.
Friday 28th of November:
Freight empty (OK, 1 (one) DHL A-300...).
HB-JGJ G-450
3 x ATR Alitalia (of which 1 was I-ATRS) near the WDL sheds.
2 x ATR Alitalia parked at the far side, near the Friendships.

Saturday 29th of November:
OE-GKC Ce680
N277UP MD-11 UPS
TC-MNU A-300 MNG
N146UP A-300 UPS
N147UP A-300 UPS
HB-JGJ still present.
The 3 Alitalia ATR's were not at WDL anymore, there was a third a/c now near the Friendships...
EDIT: Oops, forgot CF A-310 a.k.a. CC-150 15003...

Monday the 1st of December:
5A-LAB CRJ-900
N573UP 747 UPS
N286UP MD-11 UPS
N250UP MD-11 UPS
HB-JGJ still present.
And a C-160, presumably German.

Anyone for the identity of the Alitalia ATR's? Also, I understood that there was an F-4 preserved at CGN nowadays. Anyone with directions/coordinates/anything to view this bird?

TIA!

Regards,

Robert W

Hadn't gotten round to it yet, but if anyone can help......

On the 15th of November, we saw a German C-160 Transall departing at 1630 local time. Anyone for it's number?

Thanks a million in advance,

Hans & Ard

AlphaJet

Post by Numbercruncher »

Hi!

Thank you for your feedback, appreciated!

Must've shuffled some things around then... Do you have any directions to see the Alpha Jet in that case? :)

Again, much appreciated!

by car : drive to the HWY to Wahn (not Cologne City), the next exit, drive left and follow the street. Look at sign to DLR (German NASA :P ) and you see this Alpha on the left side at the main gate.
An other Alpha is preserved in Köln-Porz-Ensen inside Mudra Kaserne (Mudra Barracks) and visible from outside.
In Köln-Porz is Möbel Airport (Furniture Store) here you can find on the first floor Do.27B-1 c/n 278 ex AC+930, fake registration "HF+201" is still visible under paint.

look at : http://www.aviation-friends-cologne.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; under storage and civ picture for AZ ATR.72.
