Hello

Could you confirm that there were other stored C-160Ds present as well even if you didnt read them? To only have one remaining stored Transall would mean they have been very active in removing them in recent months.

After several years of not visiting Europe (due to living in Asia and Middle East) I am planning in May to visit ETNH in the hope to see my last remaining Transall 5053 which was last reported stored there in Aug21. If it has gone, would anyone know its new location?

Thank you

Hi,

unfortunately 50+53 was scrapped. Three C-160D remain for a unknown civilian customer and will perhaps leave in the future.

Thanks for the confirmation Herby, we arrived in Germany today (Friday) and tomorrow would have driven 3 hours return from HAM on what would have been a fruitless visit, so thank you. Time for a black armband and to raise a glass to the one that got away........

Three should remain on the flightline and/or hangars in various demilitarization states.

Visiting in the morning of 15.06. was C-26D 900530 of Sigonella AOD.

Landing after 21.00h was C-37B 166377 of VR-1.

Both obviously were in connection with Baltops 2022.

In fact, at exactly 11:50 from Prestwick calling CNV6717. This C-130T departed later at 13:16 to EEEI

ETNH mittwoch 15 Juni,

ADS-B is showing VR-1 C-37B 166377 as landing here at 19:43 LT from BIKF, and departing on the 18th at 11:48 LT to the north.

I thought Hohn was supposed to close after the disbandment of LTG-63?
