did not stay for the (full) afternoon mission, as I had to be present at Hamburg at 18.00 hours due to my job. The same four Turkish F-16s and more Eurofighters were flying in the afternoon, anyway.

For the collegues who planned to go to Wittmund this month: I just read on FF that there is a NOTAM which says that Wittmund will be closed for the whole month of June!

According to roumours some 5 more Skyhawks are expected to arrive here in the next days / weeks....

According to fightercontrol the Skyhawks will depart Prestwick today at 11.30lt. So arrival at Wittmund at 13.30lt??

One hour sounds a bit too short... I'd say 15 minutes more! Greatcircle distance is 443NM....
