I thought 18 went out (see below) and with CUBE21 x5 CUBE31 x5 and CUBE41 x4 returning on 6 Feb this would make 19 - so is one back from rework or new, or did another sneak across?

TABOR11 Flt dep SP 3rd Jan
91-0344, 91-0358, 91-0366, 91-0412, 96-0080 + 1

TABOR21 Flt dep SP 7th Jan
90-0813, 90-0829, 90-0833, 91-0360, 91-0403, 91-0416

TABOR31 Flt dep SP 8th Jan

Serials read off in Mildenhall by Dougie Couch as follows:
96-0080/SP, 91-0343/SP, 90-0827/SP, 91-0360/SP, 91-0417/SP

all were part of the original 18 that went over. Begs the question, if 18 went out and 19 came back (provided the earlier info on 6 Feb that CUBE21 = 5, CUBE31 = 5 & CUBE 41 = 4, what is the ID of the 19th aircraft?

91-0343 is the 19th F-16CM that returned. Went to the US/Ogden on 12 March 2012 and has now returned. It participated without markings in the latest Red en green Flag: http://www.flickr.com/photos/eor1/8391050148/

I've corrected my earlier post detailing which aircraft were in which flight when they went to Red Flag as I thought 91-0343 was part of the first flight based on information received detailing those at Red Flag (18 airframes) and correlating against those known to have been in the 2nd and 3rd flights.

these were the ones reported at Red Flag

90-0813
90-0827
90-0829
90-0833
91-0343
91-0344
91-0358
91-0360
91-0361
91-0366
91-0402
91-0403
91-0407
91-0412
91-0416
91-0417
92-3918
96-0080

and from posts on this forum these are the ones in the 2nd and 3rd flights that were reported arriving at Nellis

TABOR21 Flt dep SP 7th Jan
90-0813, 90-0829, 90-0833, 91-0360, 91-0403, 91-0416

TABOR31 Flt dep SP 8th Jan
90-0827, 91-0361, 91-0417, 91-0407, 91-0402, 92-3918

so does anybody know the missing aircraft that was in the first flight?

TABOR11 Flt dep SP 3rd Jan
91-0344, 91-0358, 91-0366, 91-0412, 96-0080 + 1

and did the original 18 return - or as there were only 18 at Nellis (one of which 343 I presume came from Ogden??) did some of the original flight go to Ogden and swap???

Just trying to get my head around 18 going out but 19 coming back - with presumably only 17 of the original 18 going to Nellis.

Rubberneck,

I think you may be missing the most important one from Spangdahlem, the Boss bird.
I logged the 91-0352 on the 31st and Feb. 1st at Nellis.

Charles

Sure? You have a source with pics? I'm interested in the actual coloursheme of the bird and I don't mean the tail..

Olli,

Yes I have a couple of shots of it, coming in on 21L.
It doesn't have that glossy scheme as other SP F-16's have, but it doesn't have the "new" scheme either.
In other words, it's the same as all the others. At least that's the way I look at it.

Regards,
Charles
