FT A-10s

Post by J.J. »

According to Lajes stopover shots, taken in September by João Toste / Azoresairphotos.com, A-10C 78-0674 is marked "74 FS"!

A-10C 78-0679/FT = 75th FS
A-10C 79-0138/FT = 75th FS
A-10C 79-0186/FT = 75th FS
A-10C 79-0192/FT = 74th FS

Are there really 6, or 5, or only 4 (Banter wrote: MAZDA81-84)?

I think J.J. read fine, as 78-0674 is twice on your list (as 78-0674 and as "74FS") If anyone has info on the departure date/time, please let me know.

Bagram A-10s diverted to Ramstein

Post by J.J. »

You are right, wamovements! And it looks to me that Theo03's info is not 100% correct.

Thanks to a new friend, I was able to make an update on my Warthog News today:

http://warthognews.blogspot.com/2008/11 ... m-10s.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

After Thanksgiving, all six Hogs should relocate to Spang.

I would be very grateful for any further related first-hand support. Especially related spotter photos are wanted.

Spotting and photographing those Bagram FT Hogs relocatet to Germany for wing inspections and repairs must be simply awesome for the entire European spotter scene. If the Hogs relocate from Ramstein to Spang after Thanksgiving, please let me known that and post first related pictures for the history books! I would be very grateful for any further first-hand support for my blog.

Hereby our LOG from 28 and 29 November 2008 at ETAR. Unfortuantely Trout99 came in in dark and the FT's didn't depart. They are together with the two SP A-10's parked at Ramp 4. Some phot's can be found in the Photo Forum.

It seems to be that Trout99 is an EC-135R instead of a KC-135R. Anybody knows more about this designation?

Hi all,

The departure from the SP A-10's, SP F-16's and the 6 FT A-10's is expect for tomorrow. The Edwards EC-135R is also due to depart tomorrow.
Also a Alabama ANG KC-135 is due to arrive tomorrow and a German C-160D. Of course this is not all for tomorrow there is more.

Cheers,
Eric
