Departing in the early hours was C-17A 03-3124 RCH1815 at 04:00 LT.

The RCH18xx flights are special flights, usually originating from Andrews AFB and (almost) exclusively 437th AW C-17s. The RCH18xx odd number callsigns, usually RCH1815 are Atlantic flights, and the RCH18xx even numbers, usually RCH1816 are the Pacific flights.

The 33124 was on its way to Tel Aviv, probably in support of a US envoy's visit
