Liège/Luik (EBLG/LGG) - Leonardo residents

Post by Sjoerd »

Noted today in their hangar (july 13th 2022);

279 AW.139 Irish Air Corps
703? AW.139 Cyprus National Guard (old colors)
UP-AW902 AW.169 private
..-SAT AW.139? private

Anyone got a clue which the missing are?

Also, can of the mods agree it might be worth making this a sticky subject for all logs/requests?

Maybe AW.169 SP-SAT? (c/n 69057, ex I-AWTX, F-HBPS, I-EASL) This helicopter is deep dark green with a white cheatline.

When you look in to the hanger., the IAC AW139 was to the right. Was the Cyprus one the one direct left of the hangerdoor?
Just curious.

Left next to this was: 703? AW.139 Cyprus National Guard (old colors)
In the middle A109 SE-. . .

Far left in the back probably the AW.169 SP-SAT?

Seen today during a very short stop at Leonardo were;

AW169 UP-AW902 outside
AW169 black c/s white AW169 in tail left of door
AW139/169 in off white c/s in front of door (only nose visible) ??

Irish AW139 278 arrived while driving on the highway around 13:40.

Anyone for the AW139/169?

The AW.139 of Cyprus is still in the old c/s, which is off white. Check pictures on the web to see if it matches your memory.
