Thanks for the missing serials.
I've changed the overview.

Cheers,

I also saw that video and that shows Apache with serial No 0705518 you forgot the last 2 numbers.

Cheers,
Eric
Indeed! After watching the vid again and pausing it, it seems after reading 07055 the 1 is blurred and the 8 faintly visible.
So 07-05518 is the correct number. Problem solved! Thanks for the heads up at Chièvres

Cheers,
Perry

Any idea when the helicopters will depart Chièvres and which route they will take?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Arie, yesterday afternoon there were four Apaches on the runway all the time, the fifth (57002) was parked in front of one of the hangars together with HH-60M 20353.

See videocap from 12:00 hrs (sorry for the bad quality, the four Apaches are visible on the right hand side :-) )

Hi Erwin,

yes sorry, They where indeed 4 on the old runway. I need to go to Hans Anders. So there where 5 instead of 6.

That makes 37.

According to Belgian Defence on Twitter there should be 48 choppers...

I think 37 is the correct number. 32 were seen at Chièvres yesterday and still 5 at Zeebrugge:1 CH-47F, 3 AH-64D's and 1 UH-60L.

But who knows...

Hello Luyt,
That is very hard to predict, going by the weather forecast I would not expect any movements before wednesday...
Also, some helicopters are still to arrive from Zeebrugge.
But like I said: no confirmation whatsoever :-)

Fake news? :-)
I would put my money on the guys present during the press day when 37 of the 75 choppers were towed out of the Endurance ;-)
Probably a handful additional ones arriving through airlift too, somewhere.

Chièvres status 21-10-2019

Post by downwind »

This afternoon (21-10-2019) rain and dark clouds over Chièvres, so unfortunately no serials.
New arrivals or local flight around 15:15LT were 1x AH-64 and a bit later 1x UH-60 & 1x AH-64.
Around 16:00LT I counted a total of 24x UH-60 & 7x AH-64 on the old X-runway plus 4x CH-47 on the adjacent taxi track.

Do you know if the single AH-64D and single HH-60M were still in front of one of the hangars?
In that case, all is at Chievres.
