Wouldn't be against more Phantoms this year, especially the retro colour ones

Now you're asking for the impossible... Do you realise the show is at Volkel?

Found the following message from the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight:

2013 means new challenges for the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight

New year means new season with new challenges. The focus this year is to get the two-seater versions of the Draken and Viggen airworthy and civil registered. The Swedish Air Force Historic Flight are booked for airshows at Gothenburg, Roskilde and Jersey and inquiries for participation including Fairford, Volkel, Sanicole, Yeovilton, and Malta.

That's great news. Where did you get the info from? Is there a mailing list or anything?

Inderdaad.

The show on Saturday, and departure on Sunday?
And after a long time finally again in the Netherlands.

Probably someone didn't realise the show is on a not too common Friday/Saturday instead of the full weekend. It has happened before in the past (2009 XH558 springs to mind as one of the many that made that mistake).

Strange, as that same site also mentiones that one for the Finnish Air Force 95th anniversary Airshow at Lappeenranta the same days :?

And to add to the confusion: At Lappeenranta's site they use a pic from the former Dutch demo F-16 as their header!

Anyone who believes the Fins or Dutch will send their demos that far abroad during their own main jubilee shows?

I do.....
:respect:
(its understandable that in some cases countries can send out dual formations, given the Finland Hornet demo doesn't use a dedicated airframe you only need four pilots able to perform a demo (2 active vs 2 spares) and you can visit both shows or you fly from one show to the other  )
