next to that.... rumour goes that the USAF will send out a/c from squadrons that used to fly a 100 years ago too e.g. 107th FS, 1st. RS, 2nd ARS, 9th BS etc. etc....

one thing is for sure... this RIAT will blow a lot of minds........ :-)
If you don't mind me asking, where has this information come from?

Every year it's the same story. Little chance they'll be there.

:D On twitter you can also see the ground plan. Judging from that, a LOT of aircraft are expected as most areas will be used for aircraft parking, not car parks

...it seems that currently
people in/around 322 Squadron
are trying very hard to get J-879 ,
the special tail F-16 "75 years 322 Squadron",
to visit RIAT Fairford in the static.

Yes, this aircraft:

Any ideas from your contacts on Washington and the Raf when they'll bring these aircraft in.
Hopefully they'll be flying rather than static! Seem to have loads of statics these days!

Of the eight currently at Mildenhall, two will be staying behind for 'D-Day Events', I'd say there is a distinct possibility they'll stay in the UK for RIAT as well.

RIAT is still six weeks away. ANG training deployments usually last two weeks or am I wrong?

They'll be taking part in Sabre Strike before deploying to Estonia/Lativa, not entirely sure for how long.

Sabre Strike is in the Baltic States so that is probably the sole purpose of their deployment.
