If you write about Leopard tanks in an article titled "German air force in stock?", I think I might as well include info about the navy

With the 8 German Orions the situation is similar.
Earlier this week it was published, that on average 1 or 2 of the 8 P-3s are operational and one of them only flew 2,5 hours over the past 10 years

Anyone happen to know how many Italian Eurofighters are currently operational :?:

The figures about the Bundesmarine P-3 Orions are quite shocking.

Although I do not find the article I read, here is a similar report about the Orions (in Geman):

Not only Germany.

The whole NATO is concerned.

Including the same picture of combat aircraft and helicopters in stock.

This is from an internal German report.

I think it is hilarious and hypocrite at the same time! All Western countries say they value freedom and safety however only 1 or 2 nations actually convert these words into action and sufficient budgets. Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Austria ... you name it and the situation is all the same.

In this case you focus on Germany as somebody stated some numbers on Twitter, this might look like news however this problem is known since 2015 and still lasts so I moved it to this location on the forum.
