Order for 31 NH-90s Sea Tiger for German Navy/Marineflieger replacing the Sea Lynx Mk.88A.

So 18 sea Lions... Replace the sea kings. And 31 sea Tigers to replace the lynx. Will there be a visual differents between the NH-90 versions ?

Well apart from the serial (range). The Sea Lion is a transport/SAR/support helicopter the Sea Tiger an ASW/ASV/SAR version with secondary support capability and it can carry eapons like torpedoes among others. So I guess there will be some ( slight) differences visible between the air frames .

Wow, so to replace some 20 Lynx helicopters they order 31 NH.90s? Great ratio, and very rare nowadays....!
