Hurricane Sally Sep, 2020

Post by tally »

Hurricane Sally is approaching New Orleans through the Gulf of Mexico. With this in mind the following assets have vacated their homebase:

-Keesler AFB C-130’s went to Kelly AFB.
-NAS Whiting Field T-6’s went to Greenville, SC. Fat Albert may have gone here as well.
-NAS New Orleans 122nd F-15’s went to NAS Fort Worth with 7 airframes (The following were noted: 83-0041, 82-0017, 83-0012, 82-0037, 82-0010, 78-0539, 78-0536) and to Ellington Field with 4 airframes (alert duty).
-NAS New Orleans VFA-204 came through North Texas on their way to Colorado. Assuming they went on to NAS Fallon.
-Eglin AFB F-35’s are at Savannah Shift in GA. The other's are hunkering down at their homebase.

Any additions I may have missed please let me know?

Cheers,

Tally.

12 T-1As from Pensacola are at NAS Jacksonville which is highly likely to be for Sally?
