Re: F16 crash near Trier
Crash location is given as the community of Zemmer-Rodt, which is north of Trier and just a few miles south of Spangdahlem

Re: F16 crash near Trier
Wondering if the serial is correct.
As this is 90-0831 during Frisian Flag this year.
Or did it get transferred to SP after FF?

Good to hear the pilot is ok.
The 52nd has had fair amount of bad luck, losing yet another bird.

Glad to read the pilot safely ejected.
AE16E9 is believed to be linked to 90-0833 which I think is (was) a SP frame if indeed involved, but then again.. Mode-s and not Mk1 Eyeball.

Could be a faulty entry into the ADSB-box of 90-0813 which is a current SP F-16Sowald wrote:Wondering if the serial is correct.

(although 0831 is an ex-SP aircraft itself)

Re: F16 crash near Trier
Maybe it was not Warhawk11 (90-0833) which went down?
Eurocontrol manual says: The Lost Wingman procedure will be applied when the pilot has lost visual contact to his formation. The pilot will set Code 7700 and request an individual ATC clearance.
RobertMB can you please remove the serial on http://aviation-safety.net
