Post by Poljot1 »

Already years I was wondering what two Tu-95's are doing in Ukraine at Nikolaevka and still looking airworthy. May be I missed a post but I just read about the incident between a Tu-95 and an KLM- Air France airplane: http://www.bk55.ru/news/article/31171/

I didn't know that the Tu-95 is for sale and for only USD 3 mln and still able to fly more than 4,500 hours....check this out: http://www.ibtimes.co.uk/soviet-tu-95-b ... ay-1439453

Online translation:
"Ukrainian" Tu-95MS, perhaps, the one with eBay, nearly crashed into a passenger plane April 13, 2014 - 10:16 Source: zhukvesti.info Creepy story that happened in the Moscow sky March 14, became known for the French pilots. Official information about the case almost none. Origins in the Moscow sky strategic bomber is also unknown. Perhaps this is the Ukrainian plane that was put up for auction the week before. According to "Izvestia", A319 passenger airlines Air France KLM nearly collided in the Moscow air zone with the Russian strategic bomber Tu-95. The distance between the planes, according to the French pilot, was about 100 m, and the crew heard the roar of engines Airbus military aircraft. CEO of Federal State Unitary Enterprise "State ATM Corporation" Igor Moiseenko confirmed that outstanding air incident and was checking on it is underway. March 14 party failed plane crash was the aircraft tail number FG-RXC, flies the route Sheremetyevo Airport Charles de Gaulle. Sources told that the A319 has completed the climb 8 thousand meters was the air traffic controller to transfer control of this airplane to my colleague from the MP AUVD. Less than a minute to transfer this first manager told the crew that he expected the rate of reduction of aircraft from the southwest, which at this point should be at 1000 feet above Airbus. 1000 feet (305 m) - set minimum safe distance between planes in the sky. - It was the turn of the transfer of control. Frenchman gave information that crosses the board will be higher, and the Frenchman confirmed receipt of this information. But when entering the "control" [second dispatcher] Frenchman reported that he suddenly found himself for the TU-95 in dangerous proximity to yourself - less than 100 meters - and that he would write a note of protest, which he did, as the planes nearly collided with each other - told "Izvestia" one of the air traffic controllers. By the time the dangerous proximity of military aircraft moved from the south-west with a decrease, while the French plane went west to climb. CEO FSUE "State ATM Corporation" Igor Moiseenko confirmed that aviation incident. - Works Commission - said Moiseenko. - Upon completion of inspection will be officially briefed on what happened and who is to blame, and for what reason. Further comments CEO abstained. The representative of the Air Forces told "Izvestia" that the agency will be able to comment on the incident only after receiving an official document from the French Foreign Ministry. Confirm the finding in the airspace of the Tu-95 that day, he also failed. Former Air Force Commander Peter Dejnekin in conversation with "Izvestia" suggested that the aircraft could be sent to the airfield Kipelovo located 60 km from Vologda. At the Committee on Civil Aviation Public Council Rostransnadzora about what happened dangerously close civil airliner of Air France and Tu- 95 in the Moscow sky first heard from the same "Izvestia". - It is, in fact, a prerequisite for flight accident, which is different from just a fluke accident. According to federal aviation regulations, such an event should be thoroughly investigated by a special commission at the federal level. If officials of the State Corporation ATM did not report the incident to the dangerous proximity Rosaviation or MoT, it is an official crime and if they reported, but the commission did not create, then it is a crime on the part of officials regulator, contrary to the recommendations of ICAO, whose member is Russia - said "Izvestia" commission chairman Oleg Smirnov. airman MC AUVD say in the metropolitan area Catastrophic Situation safety. In the press pops up several similar incidents in the year. The last case of dangerous encounters in the Moscow air zone was recorded in November last year, when a passenger plane Boeing "Transaero", flying from Yerevan to Moscow, nearly collided in the sky over the capital with the landing approach the plane from Arkhangelsk company "UTair". By According BK55 given aviaproishestvie closely linked to another story, which blogs on BK55 was written on March 8. Then, we recall, it became known that one of the online auctions appeared on the Tu-95 sale for $ 3 million, which was offered to pick up from the territory of Ukraine. Incidents date (March 14), the direction from which came the Tu-95 (south-west), and the fact that he was going to land somewhere near Moscow, we are told that it could well be the same Ukrainian bomber , which was bought in the end someone from Russia, it is possible the state structure or intelligence agencies. Staffing Tu-95 in the Moscow sky do absolutely nothing, his bases are located in the Saratov and Amur regions, and outputs occur on patrol through the northern airfields in polar regions and then everywhere.
