TEL AVIVI - Chinese logistics provider Hongyuan Group has ordered 11 777-300ERSF cargo planes from Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI)
and has taken options on an additional 11.

The aircraft will be transferred to Air Belgium and Jiangxi Cargo Airlines from the fourth quarter of 2024.

To date, IAI's “Big Twin” program has received fifty conversion orders from leasing company AerCap, Emirates, EVA Air, the Challenge Group and Cargojet.

Air Belgium Cargo currently operates two Boeing 747-8F full freighters on behalf of the Chinese logistics service provider.
He will also become a major shareholder of Air Belgium.

Air Belgium Cargo announced the 747-8F operation in early December 2021.

Both nine-year-old Boeings previously flew with Saudi Arabian Airlines and are leased from the German leasing company Aircraft Finance Germany.

In mid-August 2022, the German Elbe Flugzeugwerke GmbH (EFW)
also delivered a first A330-200 P2F to the American leasing company Altavair.

He subsequently rented out the aircraft to Air Belgium Cargo, which will fly two aircraft of this type.

Since early 2021, Air Belgium Cargo has been operating cargo flights with four Airbus A330-200F cargo planes

for the French transporter CMA CGM Air Cargo under its own operator license,
which itself ordered two 777F aircraft from Boeing.
