Reuters seems to have a break-through.
Reuters wrote:In an interview with Reuters, Alexander Khodakovsky, commander of the Vostok Battalion, acknowledged for the first time since the airliner was brought down in eastern Ukraine on Thursday that the rebels did possess the BUK missile system and said it could have been sent back subsequently to remove proof of its presence.
The commander still puts a lot of blame on the Ukraine government; a Pentagon spokesperson dismisses that.

There is talk of protection of the site with dutch military police or a airmobile brigade.

Can someone please help me with translation to english of the linked article. I suppose it is about the matter.

I also have more links.

SA-13 seen in Donetsk newly. Certainly a newcommer, and not on place the 17 July.
The air defence is built on MT-LB.

The airdefence missiles on place the17th July was certainly a variant on Buk (Gadfly). A operator for Buk has to train on Ashuluk poligon north of Astrakhan. Nothing for a Ukrainan soldier.

The Wall Street Journal cataloged and mapped some of the debris of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17, which fell across three Ukrainian villages after the Boeing 777 was brought down on July 17, allegedly by a surface-to-air missile.

Kiev: mijnen op rampplek MH17

Toegevoegd: woensdag 30 jul 2014, 13:03

Laying landmines at or around the site of this disaster :?: I really really hope this is just another "wild goose propaganda story"...
Otherwise a new "low" has been reached in this saga...

OSCE has several days tryed to search the crash area on a more proper way than before. Were is still some peoples missing. But heavy shooting in area has hindered further investigations.
Today Russia tryed to as a peace keeping missing to cooperate in the searching.
But the Ukrainan government has declined the Russian statement. They think Russia has hindered the investigations with heavy artillery shelling from Russian side of border. See also satellite pictures on matter in internet.

I am not taking the time to read all of that, but at least the first article is a bunch of bovine droppings. Why that is so can be read on page two (with 15 posts per page) of this thread.

Since the crash site has not been sterile and many armed forces have been playing around with debris, the conclusions drawn in the mentioned articles are 100% speculation. Nobody can tell from those photos what kind of damage is done to the debris and if it has been done after the crash or not. Let the experts who are finally at the scene do their work and we will find out sooner or later what realy happened.

That the one and only true never will be come forward.

But I'm wondering if the shooting down an civilian aircraft an act of war is???

To be honest, I am quite appalled by this Russian propaganda being shown here. I know this forum is not about politics, but this kind of nonsense and blatant propaganda dishonours the remembrance of the 298 victims (of whom 196 were from our country). I do hope those responsible for this act of war will be brought to justice or will receive their punishment in another way.

This one refers to
http://www.rtlnieuws.nl/sites/default/f ... k=qFGXJyDx

These are both English-language official letters sent to Dutch RTL-Nieuws from Australia.
The four countries which together perform the criminal investigation into the disaster flight MH17 have indeed signed a confidentiality agreement.

This 'non-disclosure agreement' that means not only the Netherlands, Australia and Belgium, but also Ukraine has a veto over what is and is not public.
All this was taken from
http://www.rtlnieuws.nl/nieuws/binnenla ... rzoek-mh17
which can be translated through

Yes, Ukraine can VETO publication of certain facts.
Very likely separatist rebels shot down MH17,
but agreements like these really do undermine the public's trust in a thorough and honest investigation...

Dutch media round-up:

The Cockpit Voice Recorder was flown from Amsterdam to the United States for further inspection on Wednesday the 26th of November.

Somewhere this December month the first recovered aircraft remains of MH17 should arrive at Gilze-Rijen Air Base in The Netherlands, having been transported by lorries.
