French private jets de pineut

As part of broader measures to achieve greening, the French government will tax kerosene for private jets next year. The French government is thus implementing a proposal from President Macron's party.

The French government will bring tariffs on jet fuel in line with those on cars by 2023, the country's environment minister Christophe Bechu announced on Saturday on the radio station franceinfo.

Dassault Aviation saw strong order intake in 2022, with both its business jet and defence divisions outstripping their prior-year performance.

Sales of Falcon business jets were up, rising to 64 – net of Russian cancellations – from 51 in 2021.

Falcon deliveries rose marginally to 32 aircraft, up from 30 a year earlier, but missed guidance by three units.

As of 31 December 2022, Dassault’s backlog stood at 164 Rafales and 87 Falcons, up on respective figures of 86 and 55 at the end of 2021.

The first example of an Airbus A220-100 in the corporate version ACJ TwoTwenty
has successfully completed its maiden flight at Comlux in Indianapolis
after its conversion to a business liner, which took almost exactly a year.

In January 2022, the globally active business aviation company Comlux, based in Switzerland,
took delivery of the first Airbus ACJ TwoTwenty, the bizliner version of the Airbus A220-100,
from the manufacturer in Montreal
and transferred it to Indianapolis,
where there is a Completion Center for Single Aisle Jets maintains.

After completing the installation of the cabin interior,
the aircraft (registration: 9H-FIVE) completed its maiden flight in the final configuration on 12 January 2023 in Indianapolis.

During the flight, which lasted one hour and 44 minutes,
the crew climbed the VIP jet, powered by two PW1500G turbofan engines, to 38,000 feet
and undertook various operational checks before returning to Indianapolis, the airport of departure.

The manufacturer launched the ACJ TwoTwenty program in October 2020
and signed an exclusive agreement with Comlux for the cabin equipment of the first 15 units.

While the airline version of the A220-100 offers its users a range of 3,450 nautical miles (6,390 kilometers),
the ACJ TwoTwenty manages 5,650 nautical miles (10,500 kilometers)
with the additional tanks installed as standard.
Airbus states the endurance of the aircraft to be over twelve hours.

For example, two new CJ3+ Cessna Citations will be added in June 2023
and the third quarter of 2024.
A Pilatus PC-24 Gen 2 will also follow in the fourth quarter of 2024.
This will be deployed under the Flyingpartners programme.

At the same time, it was announced that a 2016 CJ3+ operating under a shared owner construction will be put up for sale in June 2023.
