AG51 Tornado's were already there and didn't move during the two days (probably enroute to Middle East or Afghanistan). Together with the Lechfeld jets there were 22 Tornado's lined up, which was an impressive sight.

Besides all these goodies we saw three Atlantics and a P180 at nearby Cagliari airport (looks like the Atla's are still based here :?: ).

Some bits of extra info from my pictures:

MM7144/51-03 AMX 103° Gruppo
MM7146/51-25 AMX 132° Gruppo
MM7159/51-10 AMX 132° Gruppo
MM55114/70-21 SF-260EA 70° Stormo

The CH-47 was carrying a triangle badge with '25' in it (although I can't figure out if this applies to some sort of unit...)

The C-130J-30 on the 10th could have been the MM62187/46-53, since it departed on the 11th (thanx Thijs).
Greetz,

Patrick

Yep, in two days on a base with only five based helicopters :!:

Anyway, received some corrections:

- All MB339's carried a 212 Gruppo badge.
- HH-3's belonged to 84 Gruppo.
- Additional AB212ICO seen on both days: MM81160.
- AB212 MM81073 did not wear a 75 y AMI sticker (it must have been one of the other 670 SC AB's in the hangar then).

Nice log...

Check, the Spanish Hornets are F/A-18A's not EF-18A.

just a minor addition.. those german Tornado's serialed 46+23 and higher are Tornado ECR's instead of IDS :) they're recognizable because they have no guns in the airframe.

Nice and interesting log!

Rene,

There should be 5 IDF F-16's and 5 IDF F-15's taking part in an exercise in Turkey.

The Israelian F-16 are in Deci for a trinational exercise that include Italy-Israel & Germany.

At the moment in Deci there are 10xF-16(IAF) , 5xAMX(ITAF) , 10xF-16(ITAF) , and a couple of German Tornado fron Lechfeld.
Probably also the italian Eurofighter will join this exercise but from their homebase.

We will see what happen in the next few days...
