Well you might not call it much, but I think that almost every spotter has spent time at the fence for less. Much less!

Nice logs, great way and place to spend your holiday!

Enjoy,

Hi Wijgert,

Lajes is on Terceira Island. The only dutch airliner which flies on it is TUI AIR. It will fly from may to september. It depart from Schiphol Amsterdam and it will direct fly to Lajes itself. This is the only operator I know and ofcourse TAP.

Hope this helps. And If I can help anyone please contact me.

Hope that helps a little bit more to document this historic Indian air force Su-30 deployment to CONUS. And I will have watchful eyes on the web for their arrival at Nellis AFB for Red Flag...
For pics from Nellis check:

Indian Su-30 tail numbers identified/verified so far 100% by USAF photos taken at Lajes Field, Mountain Home AFB and Nellis AFB:
SB 107, SB 109, SB 110, SB 115, SB 046, SB 048

Anybody who can/will provide their full serial numbers?

Hornets through Lajes

Post by sentinel »

12 Hornets are deploying east early September. They will probably transit through Lajes and Sigonella.

As usual September is a good month for deployments if you happen to be in the right place at the righ time.
