Will do.
We were scheduled to ferry the aircraft over from Hamburg, but those plans have now changed. Hopefully it will take place before I head back home to New Zealand for four weeks holiday.

EHWO: Togo F28 performs test-flights

Post by Fulcrum1974 »

The Togo F28 on Woensdrecht performed a test flight today. It will depart to Togo, probably next week.

Seen today (I guess around 13.00 hr) flying near Woensdrecht was a DC-3 Dakota. I think it was a DC-3 from the Dutch Dakota Association.

If you're discussing the Togo F28, odds are that it will head back to Togo soon, as this was scheduled as a combined maintenance test, and customer acceptance flight.
I didn't hear of any major snags during the test flight from our crew, so it should be good to go.

Yorden

The Togo is ready to fly back. Unfortunately the aircraft isn't repainted, 'cause the Togo-goverment was out of money.... Initial the aircraft would only have a D-check and a paint-job, but the F28 was in a very poor state. So all the money had to be spended to make the F28 airworthy.
