Does anyone have some info about the Heldair Show at Den Helder on 15 september? Like the visitors of the airshow.

I can't find a topic about this in the forum.

At yesterday evening around 21:00 hours i saw a former camoflaged Luftwaffe L-39 standing on the civil platform in front of the tower. It serial begins with 28+.. the last part i thought i saw 33 but i didn't had my binoculars with me so i'm not sure. Does someone have more info? Thanks in advance.

After lining-up at the RWY one of the Lynxes experienced engine problems. All returned to their spot. With a new ETD of 13:15LT only 3 Lynxes will be heading to Woensdrecht, leaving the unfortunate one = ZD-263/639.

NAVY755 Lynx HAS.3S XZ-250/635, special lynx c/s
NAVY756 Lynx HMA.8 ZD-258/672
NAVY753 Lynx HMA.8 ZF-562/670
NAVY757 Lynx HAS.3S ZD-263/639

Parked on the civil platform near the tower:

L-39ZO ES-TLE/28+17 (arrived saterday)

Today the following 3 Lynxes arrived at Woensdrecht from De Kooy

XZ250/635 Lynx HAS3S 702Sqn
ZD258/672 Lynx HMA8 702Sqn
ZF562/670 Lynx HMA8 702Sqn

So ZD263/639 Lynx HAS.3S stayed behind at De Kooy.

Fokker 50 U-05 is making a roundtrip in Holland tomorrow as NAF50.
It is flying De kooy-Maastricht-Eindhoven..

Arrival at Maastricht is scheduled for 1615.
So departure from de kooy should be around 1530/1545...

REQ: Skyline L-39 in primer

Post by erik_kamphuis »

August 30th we (Panoravia) had a base visit at De Kooy and in the morning we looked through the windows of the Skyline hangar. In front of us was the damaged Fouga F-GSHG (ex FAF 45), the ex FAF Paris 51 and 2 L-39's. One in all primer and behind it the yel/wh L-39V that should be 28+49. First we thought the primer one must be 28+17 but then we read that this one arrived back at De Kooy at september 1st as ES-TLE/28+17 in full camo c/s, so that wasn't the one.
Anyone a clue what the primer L-39 must be in the Skyline hangar???

TIA,

Erik Kamphuis
