In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

London Heathrow 6-8 july 2013

Hi all,

Weather forcast for last weekend was pretty "ok" so booked the ferry last week on wednesday and drove to London Heathrow together with Kees Harteveld.
Arriving early saturdaymorning the 787's and The Hobbit were among our first catches so the start was more than excellent.
Anyway it turned out to become a very very good weekend for us since our last visit to LHR about 4 years ago.

Special Thanks to our British friends Chris and Ian!
In their acompany we had a short break-out to LGW on sunday evening to catch the Norwegian 787.

All weekend easterly arrivals and much to our luck, because of the lightconditions, only on saturday around 3 pm LHR switched to westerly 27 arrivals.

It sure is a nice destination for a small trip but take caution of good weather forecasts...as it is still the UK with their "famous weather".
We were extremely lucky with the wx this time!
