Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Nice banking shots! You caught the Mirage that way. On Monday, the French didn't do that yet.
From another topic, I understood you were looking for new equipment. What did you use to shoot these and where did you stand? On the hill or on the road leading to it?

Thanks Hans, I stood on the road leading to it. Shot with the 7D and the 400mm 5.6 L

Good day all, I haven't seen any pictures taken from spot 2 (Tsjessingawei).
Is that spot closed or isn't that a good spot?

That's only good for when they use the old 09-27.

Hello Hans,

Isn't that a good spot to take pictures of taxiing aircraft?

Regards,

Jan

I see what you mean now...
Don't know really... I am not so into taxy shots when I also can do dynamic stuff. You'll have to give it a try and see how you fare with obstacles between you and the subject.

I believe you will only be able to take shots from the aircraft taxiing to the active runway coming from the southern ramps and I can remember something that the farmer is not amused by having spotters in his fields so you will only be able to make shots from some distance.
