Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Wittmundhafen (ETNT) - 2010 MIL

Post by Jutter »

Zeeuwric on may 5 it was pretty much the same. In the morning a couple of guys were send away oposite the tower. Later around 15.00 we a group of 15 spotters were send away as well. We were standing at the west side by the crash gate. They told the same story as you heard. We packed up and parked our cars a few hundred meters down the road at a meadow wich is not used by the farmer. From there we followd a track after 100m turned left and walked until we passed by along a soil ridge. From that position we continued (see pics) to make some beautiful landing shots.

The following photo was taken around 10.00 at the east side of the runway. Around 09.00 they flew west wind. When they turned the direction we stayed to see the airborne F-4 coming in. After that we left for the west side.
