MiG-21F '0210' @ Schagerbrug 10-02-2010

MiG-21F '0210' @ Schagerbrug 10-02-2010

Today we had the sad task of taking our cat to it's final resting place, the animal cremation centre near Schagerbrug.

The last time we drove by, i remembered some derelict aircraft nearby so i took my cam with me (also because the family wanted some last pics from our cat).

The Mig is located on the Belkmer-road ("Belkmerweg") in Schagerbrug (not in 't Veld as the database states):

On a previous visit the cockpit section of a second aircraft was also pressent but this visit that section wasn't seen anywhere on the property.

It is possible it was inside, but i assume this section has been removed. Perhaps somebody can confirm this ?

Hmm he never was in placed in 't Veld, should have noticed him if he was. He stood a while in Lutjewinkel, 5km away from 't Veld, before he moved to 't Zand on a industrial terrain, then he was showed at the Heldair Airshow 2007, after that I lost track of it.

Hello

After 't Zand on a industrial terrain, the plain was stored at the home off the owner in Sint Martensvlotbrug, Belkerweg ??
The coordinates are 52°47'55.49"N - 4°42'29.91"O .

Also the cockpit section was stored there beside the MiG.

Well actually, the Belkmerweg is in Schagerbrug, not Sint Maartensvlotbrug.

The cockpit section you mention wasn't seen on Feb. 10th.

St Maartensvlotbrug is closer to the MiG.21 than Schagerbrug. Schagerbrug is 2km on the east-side of the NH-canal. St Maartensvlotbrug is on both sides of the NH-canal. Maybe you are confused with De Stolpen. The MiG is along the Belkemerweg between St Maartensvlotbrug and De Stolpen.
Check Google Maps.

oke, to end this discusion, I lived 3 houses south of this farm and I am sure it is Sint Maartensvlotbrug. I think the nose section is on the south side of the property
