They should have closed soesterberg 5years ago :twisted: . At least we have a good change of photographing this nice choppers at the fence now...

They should have close gilze! what about that!!!
Its a bloody shame that the whole airforce except leeuwarden now is situated in brabant :cry:

question, why do you use 'gils' instead of 'gilze', or 'EHGR'

Don't forget De Kooy, it's officially KLu also nowadays, but, to get back on topic... I like the shots.

Looks to me I should travel to Brabant sometime in the near future. Especially now, with all the autumn leaves in the background.

Because that is the name which is given to the base by the local people in the county of Gilze en Rijen :wink:

They allready had one @ the runway 28, but it is removed when they builded the new spotters parking there

Very nice shots. I really like the pictures of the Cougar and Apache with the autum colord threes in the background supurb! :good:

It's a ten minutes bicycle ride for me to EHGR but I usually go to EHVK to enjoy the F-16's, I think it's time for me to get my bike out of the shed and go for a ride...
